Mr. Geckle teaches Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and AP Chemistry at LCHS. He grew up in Somers, New York, and attended the University of Delaware where he graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Philosophy in 2006. He went on to receive an M.S. in Adolescent Education from Mercy College in 2007, before moving to Baltimore to begin his career as an educator. After dreaming of it for many years, he moved to Southern California in 2015, and began teaching full-time at LCHS in 2016. During his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, eating the best food that L.A. has to offer, spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, and watching baseball, basketball, and soccer.
