LCHS hosts over 120+ college reps yearly. 

For the college visits, please check SCOIR and our school website regularly to find the most up to date information on college visits.  Here are some important tips on the benefits of attending a virtual college visit: 

1. Students have a chance to meet with a representative and ask specific questions.
2. Students can let the college know they are seriously interested.
3. In many cases, the representatives are admission officers from the college, so students have a unique opportunity to make contact with a person who may be evaluating their application in the future.
4. The meeting provides students with a specific contact at the college to whom they can send questions.
5. Sometimes representatives, particularly ones from state universities, will give an early read on students' transcripts, test scores and course selections during their visits. This helps students assess their fit at that institution and figure out what they can do to improve their chances of getting in.

Steps for signing up:

Please log into your SCOIR account for listings of college visits. 

1.  Click on "More Info" next to the name of the university.
2.  Click on "Register"
3. Please note the date, time and name of the representative in preparation for the  visit.  The list changes frequently so check it often.  A URL link is provided to you prior to the visit.
