Colin (Cole) Spitler is originally from the great state of Michigan and a product of public school education from kindergarten through university. He attended Central Michigan University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and Spanish and a minor in education. Later, he supplemented his education by attending the Centro Mexicano de Idiomas in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. After teaching for several years in Northern Michigan, while also obtaining first a Master of Arts degree in English, also from Central Michigan University, he then obtained a Master of Arts degree in Spanish through the University of Northern Iowa, where all of his course work was done over three summers in Soria, and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Mr. Spitler later a Master of Fine Arts in Acting at the University of Louisville. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and joined LCUSD in 2003 as a substitute, and hired in full time in 2006, teaching Spanish full time since then.
