LCHS Engineering and Green Clubs Hosting an eWaste drive this Saturday, January 21st, 8am-12pm

The LCHS Green Club, the LCHS Engineering & Robotics Clubs are sponsoring another Community eWaste Collection Day to help save the environment from toxic waste...

On Saturday, January 21, 2023; LCHS will be accepting electronic waste (eWaste) items from the community at no charge and will work with a specialized eWaste Management Company to have all of the discarded electronic waste processed for recycling.

We are committed to the preservation of the environment by diverting electronic waste from landfills and recycling used electronics in a safe, socially ethical and environmentally friendly process.

From 8am to 12pm, the public is invited to drop off any of the following electronic items at the LCHS parking lot by the Pool/South Gym:

- Computers / Notebooks / Laptops / Macs
- Monitors / LCDs / Projectors / LCDTVs
- Printers / Faxes / Multifunction / Scanners
- TVs / Stereo Equipment / VCRs / DVDs
- Cell Phones / MP3 / iPhones / Tablets
- Digital Cameras / SLRs / Video Cameras
- Small Household Electric Appliances
- Microwaves / Toasters / Vacuum ... etc.
- Home Phones / Electric Toys

Any device that plugs to the wall or battery-operated will be accepted.

Proceeds from the recycled electronics, which are calculated based on the weight of all collected eWaste items during that event, will benefit School Clubs and the Educational Programs at LCHS.

The more we recycle, the better we can serve the environment, help our community and support LCHS activities & clubs.
