PBIS

Under the umbrella of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS).  PBIS aims to improve the emotional well-being of students, raise academic success, and foster a strong climate of care.  Students adhere to the behavior expectations and the school reinforces the behaviors in a positive and equitable manner.  At LCHS, we want our students to know that we are on their SIDE!  When teachers, staff, or administrators witness our students demonstrating positive behaviors, students are awarded a Spartan Slip.  Students are chosen at random, acknowledged for their positive behavior over the PA or during assemblies, and are awarded a special prize!
