This graphic design course provides an introduction to the aesthetics and techniques used throughout the digital design field. Students will explore many aspects of design including page layouts, advertisements, posters, book jackets, commercial packaging/product design, DVD design, app design, multimedia design and Website design. Students will learn to work independently and as part of a design teams to develop creative content. Career options in commercial art, graphic design and multimedia design will be covered. All students will create Web portfolios to showcase their design work.
