The purpose of this course is to provide students with a broad understanding of the diverse areas of psychology. Through the use of hands-on activities, individual and group work, students will develop an understanding of why people behave as they do. Students will also gain insight into their own behaviors. The subject matter will be pertinent to both students' interests and pressing social issues. This course receives elective credit and does not qualify to meet the social science graduation requirement.
