This course will provide students with competencies necessary for entry-level work in merchandising and retail sales occupations. They also learn to market themselves through a personal portfolio. Includes hands on experience in retail merchandising settings. The on-the-job training portion of the course can be a combination of unpaid and paid experiences. This is a good course for students to receive credit for employment. This is an after school course. Students must be at least 16 years of age and in grade 11 or higher to participate in this class. May be repeated for credit.
