Prerequisite: Grade of B or higher in Algebra II/Trig or LC Math 3.
Daily Homework: 15 minutes
 
This course is a critical thinking course that focuses on the application of Discrete Math topics to the social sciences as well as to the natural and physical sciences. First semester topics include election theory, fair division, matrix operations and applications, game theory, and codes. Second semester topics include graph theory and applications, combinatorics, probability and statistics, recursion, and series. This is a one year course. Students may begin this course at second semester since the topics are not continuous.
